Okay But How Exactly Does It Work & Save me Money?
Holiday Mobiles uses a system called ‘call back’ which basically re routes your call using VOIP in a method similar to Skype.
- When you dial a number to make a call using our handset – instead of dialling straight out, the phones sends a USSD message (text message) to our holiday mobiles server with the number you are trying to call.
- Our server then dials out using VOIP with the information your handset has just sent it. When a dial tone is achieved the server then connects the call back to you by calling you back.
- You then answer the phone and wait for it to be answered the other end.
